Life Box for Professionals
Help your clients stay prepared for life.
Life Box gives your clients a secure place to organize the documents, information, contacts and instructions their families may someday need — while helping you maintain a valuable relationship through life's changes.
Built for professionals who help Canadians plan, protect and prepare.
Help your clients stay prepared long after the meeting ends.
You complete one important piece of a much larger picture. Families often still lack a single organized understanding of everything around it.
- where important documents are
- what accounts exist
- who their professional contacts are
- what insurance is in place
- what property they own
- who should be contacted
- what subscriptions and obligations exist
- which digital accounts matter
- what instructions family should know
- what documents are missing
- what needs reviewing or updating
- how prepared they actually are
Life Box helps connect those pieces — and you don't have to become responsible for keeping any of it up to date. Life Box does that directly with the member.
Stay connected to clients between life's biggest decisions.
Extend the client relationship
The relationship shouldn't end when a document is signed, a policy is issued or a plan is delivered. Life Box adds an ongoing preparedness layer around your work — the will, the powers of attorney, the insurance, the property details, the accounts, the executor and family contacts, the instructions — organized in one private place the client maintains.
Stay relevant through life's changes
People marry, separate, have children, move, buy and sell property, start companies, retire, inherit, change beneficiaries and change executors. Life Box helps members notice when something recorded no longer matches their life.
You stay part of the picture
With the member's consent, you're recorded inside their Life Box as an important professional contact — so when something needs professional attention, they already know who to call.
No new administration for you
You don't become the custodian of any of this. Life Box works directly with the member. Nothing about a referral makes you responsible for maintaining their information.
What a client might see inside Life Box
- Your will hasn't been reviewed in several years. Consider discussing whether it still reflects your wishes with your estate-planning professional.
- You've added a new property. Consider confirming that your insurance, estate and financial information remain current.
- You've told us your family situation has changed. You may want to review beneficiary designations and estate documents with the appropriate professionals.
Life Box never provides legal, financial, tax or insurance advice. It helps identify when a member may want professional guidance — and points them back to the professionals they trust.
Built for professionals your clients already trust.
If your work touches family, estate, finances, insurance, property, retirement, business or end-of-life planning, Life Box fits alongside it.

Life changes create reasons to reconnect
When something may need professional attention, Life Box encourages the member to contact the appropriate professional rather than attempting to replace professional advice.
Readiness, without exposure
Life Box calculates a preparedness percentage from the recommended information and documents a member has completed. With the member's explicit, revocable consent, a professional may see that high-level status — completion only, never contents.

Their Life Box stays theirs.
Trust is fundamental to your client relationship. Life Box is designed so you can recommend it without becoming a custodian of your client's private information.
- The member owns and controls their Life Box
- A referral grants no access of any kind
- Documents, passwords and contents are never visible to professionals
- Private information is not sold
- Individual readiness sharing requires explicit member consent
- Aggregate insights are anonymized and grouped
- Life Box is not a substitute for professional advice
- No advisor-client or fiduciary relationship is created by Life Box
Coming soon: anonymous client preparedness insights
In time, partners will be able to see anonymized, aggregated trends among the clients they've introduced — average preparedness and the categories where clients most commonly need more preparation. Those insights are based on category completion only, are never identifying, and stay hidden until a partner's cohort reaches at least 10 members. We do not sell member data, and professionals never see an individual's private information.
Make Life Box part of your service
Give clients their first year of Life Box as part of estate planning packages, financial planning engagements, insurance policies, executor consultations, retirement planning, employee benefits or client appreciation programs.
Client benefit
No compensation to the professional. Your client receives a preferred introductory price.
Partner referral
Where appropriate and permitted, compensation may be available, with full disclosure to the client where required.
Gifted membership
You purchase Life Box for the client as part of your service.
Organization program
A firm, employer or institution provides Life Box memberships at scale.
Gifted memberships are issued as claim codes. The client activates their own account and controls it completely from that moment — the professional is never the owner of the client's data.

Questions professionals ask
Does Life Box replace estate planning?
No. Life Box organizes information and documents. It does not draft wills, give legal, financial, tax or insurance advice, or replace the professional work you do.
Can I see my client's documents?
No. Professionals never see a member's documents, passwords, account details or any other private contents. Referring a client grants no access of any kind.
Is my client's information private?
Yes. The member owns and controls their Life Box. Private information is not sold, and nothing is shared with a professional unless the member explicitly consents.
What does it cost my client?
A Life Box membership is C$49.99 per year. Professionals can also gift memberships or arrange preferred introductory pricing for their clients.
Do I have to manage anything?
No. Life Box works directly with the member. You are never the custodian of their information and have no ongoing administration.
Is there compensation?
It depends on the partnership model and on what your profession's rules permit. Many partners choose the client-benefit model with no compensation. Where compensation applies, disclosure to the client is made as required.
Is Life Box Canadian?
Yes. Life Box is built in Canada for Canadian families, with Canadian privacy law and provincial differences in mind.
What happens if a client dies?
Nothing releases automatically. A representative submits identification and proof of authority, and a person at Life Box reviews it before anything is released under the member's chosen instructions.
Can I offer this to my whole client base?
Yes. Firms, employers and institutions can provide Life Box memberships at scale through an organization program.
Does referring a client create any obligation for me?
No. A referral does not create an advisor-client or fiduciary relationship with Life Box, and it does not make you responsible for maintaining your client's information.
