Request access

Access is verified, never assumed.

Requesting access is always free. Knowing someone's email, being a family member, or uploading a copy of a will does not grant access.

1. Start a claim

Create a free representative account. You'll be asked who the Life Box belongs to and what role you hold — executor, estate trustee, liquidator, administrator, attorney under a power of attorney, or another appointment.

2. Provide identification

Government-issued identification for yourself, so we can confirm you are the person who was designated.

3. Provide proof of authority

Depending on the situation: a death certificate or funeral director's statement, medical documentation of incapacity, the relevant will or power of attorney, and probate or letters of appointment where required.

4. Human review

A person at Life Box reviews every claim. Nothing unlocks automatically, and we may ask follow-up questions or decline a claim that isn't sufficiently supported.

5. Approved access

If approved, you receive exactly what the member's release rules allow — presented as an Estate View organized around the actions you actually need to take.

Representative claims are opening soon

The verified claim intake is being finalised with Canadian estate counsel. If you need to start a claim now, sign in and contact us from Settings and we will handle it directly.

Life Box is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, determine inheritance, or replace probate.
